Ceramic

The word “ceramic” comes from the old Greek word “keramos”, which was used for stoneware products that were made by baking clay in molds. The production of ceramics is one of the oldest know manufacturing techniques in the world.

Modern ceramics are used in many areas of daily life, such as for making knives, ball bearings or in astronautics for making thermal protective tiles.

With the colour and surface structure of ceramic, an interesting effect and durability for the FELDO timepieces is obtained.
